Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned projects of CSIR-CSMCRI by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi, entitled “Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation and valorisation technologies – HCP0024(WP-6) Seaweed based formulations/sap for reduced disease susceptibility in important oil yielding crops peanut and sesame.” at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. The selected candidates will work on Physiological, Biochemical, molecular biology and biotechnology related project activities in WP-6. Desirable: Experience in biochemical and molecular analysis of plants. |

Emoluments |

CSIR Project Associate-I: (i) ₹ 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions. (ii) ₹ 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above |

All the candidates attending walk-in-interview/written test should bring one set of duly certified copies of all certificates along with originals and 2 passport size photographs along with them. The selected candidates may pursue the Ph.D. programme in AcSIR as per the guidelines.
The post is purely temporary for duration of one year only. It would therefore, not confer any right /claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. No travelling or any other allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
