Principal Investigator: Dr. Ankush Biradar, Pri. Scientist (CSIR-CSMCRI), Bhavnagar, Gujarat (Web https://www.csmcri.res.in/node/345  ).

Essential Qualification(s): M.Sc. in Chemistry.

Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET (LS)/GATE/ one year of experience in organic/inorganic chemistry/Material synthesis and knowledge of catalysis.

Fellowship: i) Rs 31000/- + HRA for the scholars who are selected through (a) national eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including LS or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.  

(ii) Rs. 25000/- +HRA for those who do not fall in (i) above

Age: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Duration of the project: This position is purely temporary for the project for one year and may be curtal or extended depending upon funding availability. Therefore, it would not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate for extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI. The initial appointment is for one year.

Job Description: Selected candidate will work on CSIR funded project (4 M) entitled: Development of efficient synthetic protocol of high temperature (≥ 1200 °C) stable anatase TiO2: A technological challenge for self-cleaning ceramic tiles industries. The main objective of this project is to synthesize TiO₂ based photocatalyst
