For JRF: B.E./B. Tech. Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent selected through a process described through any one of the following: a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE, b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Fellowship: 31,000/- + HRA Age: As on the last date of receipt of the application, maximum 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules. For Project Associate I: B.E./B. Tech. Civil Engineering Fellowship: (i) Rs 31000/- + HRA for B. E. / B. Tech. Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and institutes. (ii) Rs 25000/- + HRA for others i.e. B. E. / B. Tech. Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent [without (a) or (b) as mentioned above]. Age: As on the last date of receipt of the application, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules. |

Desirable experience:
The selected candidates are required to work on the project entitled “Improving the quality and yield of salt produced by the marginal agarias of Halwad Region through scientific intervention and improving their income through value addition of bitterns, halophyte plantation and potable water recovery”.

Civil engineering aspects of field implementation of solar salt production related to design of solar salt works, effective brine management, preparation of civil work estimates based on DSR/SOR, site supervision of civil construction of solar salt works, studies of climate parameters of solar salt production, counter survey with total station and GPS mapping, experimental data collection of solar salt fields and AutoCAD design. Knowledge of digitization and mapping in ArcMap GIS would be added advantage. Preference will be given to the person having experience in design of solar salt works. She/he will also be required to travel for site work. |

Implement of processes related to improvement of the quality and yield of solar salt as well as characterization of brine, salts and marine chemicals samples. Preference will be given to the person having experience in salt and marine chemicals analysis. |

The candidate will be engaged to work in the lab as well as field to implement processes related to improvement of the quality and yield of solar salt as well as characterization of brine, salts and marine chemicals samples. |
Duration: These positions are purely temporary for the period of one year. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.
