The Essential Educational Qualification and the remuneration in respect of one post (number of posts) of Project Associate I  (designation of the post) advertised vide Advertisement Number Env. 08/2020_ may be corrected and read as under:

For the position of Project Associate I:

Monthly Emoluments (in Indian rupees):

  1. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
  2. 25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

 

Other details notified vide above-referred Advertisement remain unchanged.

Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned Environment related Grant in Aid Project at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar. The title of the project is "Development of Particulate organic carbon (POC) Algorithm in the water of Arabian Sea" sponsored by SAC (ISRO), Ahmedabad.

The project have extensive fieldwork / boat sampling. The number of positions is tentative and may vary at the time of interview. The details of post is as following:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) /Project Associate (PA-I): 1 Post

 

Essential Qualification JRF

 

 

 

:

Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Science / Studies/ Management / Marine Science/ Marine Biology/Microbiology /Biotechnology / Life Sciences/Marine Chemistry with:

  1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
  2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Essential Qualification PA-I

Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Science / Studies/ Management / Marine Science/ Marine Biology/Microbiology /Biotechnology / Life Sciences/Marine Chemistry.

Job requirement (for both)

 

:

The selected candidate will have to work on above stated project and as part of the project; marine boat sampling /extensive fieldwork may be required.

Emoluments

:

Age limit

:

28 years* (For Junior Research Fellow)

35 years* (For Project Associate- I)
