Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Project JRF (Junior Research Fellow) to work at CSIR-CSMCRI for GUJCOST funded project on Deployment of Sustainable Concrete for Reducing Brine Water Losses in Earthen Salt Pans: An Experimental Investigation at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar’ (Project No. GAP 2154)
Essential Qualifications: Graduate/Post Graduate in Civil Engineering and selected through a process described through any one of the following:
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
Desirable Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent, B.E./B. Tech./M.E / M.Tech. Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with GATE/ National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship).
Emoluments :
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET (valid) including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE (valid) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions 25,000/- per month + HRA as per GSBTM Guidelines of GUJCOST, Govt. of Gujarat.
- Rs.18,720/- fixed per month for who do not fall under (i) above.
Duration: This post is purely temporary for the period of one year. The post is extendable up to 08/06/2025 as per the performance of the candidate. That JRF will work in Nirma University, Ahmedabad in the initial stage of project and will work in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar later stage of project. The candidate have to work at Nirma University or CSIR-CSMCRI, as and when required. This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
Age: As on the last date of receipt of the application, maximum 28 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per GUJCOST rules.
