CORRIGENDUM

The Essential Educational Qualification and the remuneration in respect of 02 posts (number of posts) of Project Associate I (designation of the post) advertised vide Advertisement Number CSIR-CSMCRI/SMC/FBR/2020-21 may be corrected and read as under:

For the position of Project Associate I:

Essential Qualification: Masters Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent

Monthly Emoluments (in Indian rupees):

1.  31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
2. 25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

Other details notified vide above-referred Advertisement remain unchanged.

Project Associate I: 02 posts

Essential Qualifications:  M. Sc. in Chemistry

Desirable experience: The selected candidates will have to work on the project “Fundamental studies on designing & synthesis of multinucleating ionophores towards high lithium loading and extraction from various sources.” One of the candidate will be working on synthesis and characterization of organic and inorganic compounds along with photophysical studies. The other candidate will be working on computational chemistry / molecular modelling of both organic and inorganic compounds. Prior working experience on either of the themes is desirable.

Fellowship: Rs. 31000/- pm + HRA as per CSIR guidelines. The HRA is payable only if no Hostel accommodation is available.

Age: As on the last date of receipt of applications through email, i.e. 25/08/2020, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Duration: These positions are purely temporary for the period of One year extendable up to 31/03/2023. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.
