The Essential Educational Qualification and the remuneration in respect of _01___ post of _Project Associate-I (01) advertised vide Advertisement Number 03/2020 may be corrected and read as under:

For the position of Project Associate I:

Essential Qualification: Masters Degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent

Monthly Emoluments (in Indian rupees):

1.  31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
2. 25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

Other details notified vide above-referred Advertisement remain unchanged.

Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for Project Associate –I (1 post) and Project Assistant (2 posts) to work in the CSIR-sponsored projects in the area of ‘Valorisation of Fishery Waste for Development of Biofertiliser, Biorefinery, Biofeed & Recovery of Biopolymers (MLP1202)” and “Biostimulant-National Network Project (MLP0049)”. The details of posts are as following:

Project Associate I: (1 Post)[MLP1202]
Qualification	:	M.Sc in Chemistry   Desirable: Chemistry with core specialisation (Organic, Inorganic, Physical and Industrial) and NET/GATE qualification.
Job requirement	:	The selected candidates will have to work on extraction of high-value products from fishery waste and seaweeds.
Project Assistant: (1 Post) )[MLP1202]
Qualification	:	B.Sc in Life sciences
Job requirement	:	The selected candidates will have to work on application of various seaweed based formulations on the cultivation of micro algae.
Project Assistant: (1 Post) )[MLP0049]
Qualification*	:	B.Sc.  in Chemistry
Job requirement	:	The selected candidates will have to work on different analytical procedures pertaining to downstream processing of seaweed biomass.
Emoluments	:	31,000/- + HRA per month for Project Associate –I [Payable only if no accommodation is available from Institute] 20,000/- + HRA per month for Project Assistant [Payable only if no accommodation is available from Institute] (Post No 2) 20,000/- per month (Consolidated) for Project Assistant (Post No 3)
Age limit*	:	35 years for Project Associate I 50 years for Project Assistant I

*Relaxation in age / qualification as per CSIR norms.
