Essential Qualifications:

M.Sc. (Chemistry) from a recognized university or equivalent

Desirable experience:

Candidates having theoretical or practical knowledge in the area would be preferred. Theoretical or practical knowledge in the area

Job Description: The selected candidates will have to work on DST sponsored Project titled "Integrated Process of Soluble-Acid-Free Bromine Production Followed by In Situ Oxidative Valorization of Biomass, Furanics and Plastic Wastes". The candidates have good technical writing and project management skills. The candidates will have to work in the field, also.

Monthly Emoluments & Upper Age Limit:

1. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET, including lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies / Institutions.

2. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.

Upper Age Limit (in years)**: 35 years as on 31/03/2026

(**) Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Duration: These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. It would not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate to claim absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.
