“Established in 1954, CSIR–Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI), Bhavnagar, is a premier multidisciplinary national laboratory under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The institute is internationally recognized for research in salt and marine chemicals, advanced materials, catalysis, membranetechnology, desalination, renewable energy, environmental sustainability, marine biotechnology, and specialty chemicals, with strong emphasis on industrial innovation andsocietal applications.

CSIR-CSMCRI invites applications from bright, talented, and motivated candidates to join the Institute on a purely temporary basis under the ULIP Project bearing Project Code: MLP002616 entitled “Research, Translation & Sustainable Development of Marine Resources for Salt, Water, Chemicals and Bio-products”. General Instructions

(A) House Rent Allowance (HRA) shall be admissible as per the extant Government of India rules.

(B) Age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Women categories shall be 05 years and for OBC category shall be 03 years, or as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time.

(C) The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Engagement of project staff in different projects, at either CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar or any other CSIR Laboratory/Institute, taken together, shall not exceed 06 years in any case. The engagement shall not confer any right or claim, implicit or explicit, for regular appointment, continuation, extension, or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
