1. Rs. 35000/- + HRA for M. Sc. (Biochemistry/Biotechnology) from a recognized university or equivalent and 2 years experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and Services WITH scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutes.
2. Rs. 28000/- + HRA for M. Sc. (Biochemistry/Biotechnology) from a recognized university or equivalent and 2 years experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and Services

Age:  

The upper age limit is 35 years as on 20/01/2021 which is relaxable as per SERB/CSIR rules.

Job requirements:

The selected candidate will work on the DST-SERB funded project entitled “Studies on macrolide antibiotics: Application of genetic approaches for drug discovery”. Selected candidate is expected to perform microbial culture, preparation of microbial / algal extracts and carry out bioassay-guided fractionation to isolate pure compounds employing chromatographic methods & determine their structures using advanced NMR and MS techniques.

The position is purely temporary for 4 months. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
