Essential Qualification for Project JRF: M. Sc. In Chemistry course selected through a process described by any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and/or GATE; (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Fellowship: 31,000/- + HRA

Age: Upper age limit is 28 years, on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per SERB rules.  

Essential Qualification for Project Associate I: M. Sc. In Chemistry

Fellowship:

[1] 31000/- + HRA for M. Sc. (Chemistry) scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests such as CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutes.

[2] 25000/- + HRA for others i.e. M.Sc. (Chemistry) who do not fall under (a) and (b) above.

Age: Upper age limit is 35 years, on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per SERB rules.

Duration of the project: This position is purely temporary for the duration (three years) of the project. Therefore, it would not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI. Initial appointment is for one year.

Job Description: Selected candidate will work on a Core Research Grant of SERB. The candidate will be engaged in the development of sensors and point-of-care methods for various disease linked biomarkers.

The details of the interview will be sent to such candidates by e-mail only. Incomplete application/without application format would be rejected during screening.
