Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for Project Associate I (2 posts) to work in a CSIR-sponsored project in the area of ‘Anti-virulent compounds from microalgae’ (Project No. MLP0062). The number of positions is tentative and may vary at the time of interview. The details of posts are as following:

Project Associate-I: 02 Posts

Essential Qualification

:

M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology.

                            (OR)

Physiology / M.V.Sc.

Desirable

:
  • The selected candidates will have to work on screening of anti-virulent compounds, mode of action studies, in-vivo assay etc.
  • Candidates having research expertise in microbiology, molecular biology methods, animal handling / or having GATE/NET qualification will be given preference.

Monthly remuneration

:
  1. ₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (OR) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
  2. ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above

Age limit

:

35 years*

*Relaxation in age/qualification as per CSIR norms.

These posts are purely temporary and therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.
