Qualifications and monthly emoluments:

Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent with scholars who are selected through (a) National eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE OR (b) National level examinations conducted by central government Departments and their agencies and institutions.

Monthly emoluments: Rs 31000/- (consolidated)

Age: As of the last date of receipt of application through email, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the CSIR rule.

Duration: Initially for 1 year and may get extended for another 2 years, subject to the availability of funds and the performance of the candidate.

Job description: The selected candidate will work on a SERB-sponsored project on the large-scale fabrication of composite membranes for desalination, water purification, and molecular separation.
