Online –Interview

Applications are invited from talented and motivated candidates for working in recently sanctioned Grant-in-Aid projects in the area of environmental science and life science. The number of positions are tentative and may vary at the time of interview.
Field Worker: 01 Post
Essential Qualification		Graduate degree in any discipline
Desirable		Experience in constructed wetlands, horticulture. As a part of the project, extensive fieldwork may be required.
Monthly emoluments		₹18,000/- + HRA
Age limit		50 years*
Project Associate-I: 01 Post
Essential Qualification	:	M.Sc. Medical Biotechnology/Microbiology/ (or) B.E. Biotechnology/
Desirable	:	Experience in bioprospecting of microbes. Preferable-DBT JRF
Monthly emoluments	:	₹31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE (OR) (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above
Age limit	:	35 years*

*Relaxation in age as per norms

These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 5 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
