Essential Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Botany / Biotechnology / Biochemistry

Preferred experience: Basic knowledge of Botany / Plant Biotechnology / Biochemistry and laboratory skills/ethics to execute/deal the experimentations

Emoluments:

(a) ₹. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET including lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE or those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions

(b) ₹ 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above

Job description: Selected candidate will work on the WP-02 and WP-03 of CSIR sponsored project, HCP0024 (III Phase). The candidates are expected to design/ execute the experiments as well as visit the seaweed growing sites for fulfilling the project objectives.

Essential Qualification: Graduation degree in Biological Science with Chemistry as one of the subject

Preferred experience: Basic knowledge of computer work and ability to support routine R&D work in laboratory working in the area of Plant Science / Biotechnology

Emoluments: 20,000/-+ HRA

Senior-PAT  [01 Post]: WP-04

Essential Qualifications:

For Senior PAT: Doctoral Degree in any branch of Biological Science with specialization in Plant Molecular Biology / Plant Biotechnology.

Desirable: Knowledge of bioinformatics, transcriptomics, metagenomics, DNA fingerprinting, gene expression studies, and published doctoral work in SCI  Journals.

Candidates with experience after Ph.D. will be preferred.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42000/- + HRA

Age: The upper age limit for  Senior-PAT is 40 years as on date of Interview. (Age relaxation as per CSIR rules).
