Total no. of Posts: Project Associate–I (1 No); Project Assistant–II (1 No).

Walk in- Interview on 06.10.2025 at CSMCRI – Marine Algal Research Station Mandapam, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu.

Project Associate-I: Total 1 post Post Code: 01
Qualification:	M.Sc in Marine Science/ Coastal Zone Management/ Microbiology
Desirable qualifications	Sufficient Knowledge/ Experience in marine microalgae cultivation and processing
Emoluments:	Rs.31,000/- + 10% HRA as per CSIR guidelines for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship OR GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Governments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions. Rs.25,000/- + 10% HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.
Age limit:	35 years as on the date of walk-in-interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Project Assistant- II: 1 post Post Code: 02
Qualification Desirable Emoluments: Age limit:	B.Sc Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Marine Science/ Marine Biology Knowledge/ Experience in marine microalgae cultivation and processing 20,000/-per month + 10% HRA. 35 years as on the date of walk-in-interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Applicatants those who are working as a Project Associate / Project Assistant / Field Assistant / Research scholar or any other mode in CSIR institutions / Universities / other government organizations need to be submit “No Objection Certificate” from their present Project Leader or competent authority in the letter head with seal. Candidates applying without knoweldge of their Project Leader or Competent authority, candidates will be whole responsibility for any enquiry and CSIR – CSMCRI and MARS, Mandapam will not be responsible. Interested and eligible candidates are allowed for walk-in- Interview that will be held at CSIR – CSMCRI – Marine Algal Research Station, Mandapam camp – 623 519 on 06.10.2025. Ramanathapuram district. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing interview. These posts are purely temporary for the duration of sponsored project only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/ CSIR.
