Essential Qualification: PhD in Biosciences

Desirable: 10 publications in SCI journals with one year of experience in the field of seaweeds

Fellowship: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA as per CSIR guidelines.

Job description: Selected candidate will work on the CSIR project, titled ‘Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation and valorisation technologies – WP1’. The candidate is expected to co-ordinate with temporary project staff to achieve the objectives; additionally the candidate is expected to visit various seaweed farming locations along the PAN India coast; also undertaking culture of various statins in the laboratory; collection and identification of various seaweed species through morphological and molecular methods, etc.

1. Project Associate I –1 Post

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Science

Desirable: Experience of undertaking analysis of common physico-chemical parameters of seawater. 

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as per CSIR guidelines.

Job description : Selected candidate will work on the CSIR project, titled ‘Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation and valorisation technologies – WP1’. The candidate is expected to undertake analysis of common physico-chemical parameters, visit various seaweed farming locations along the PAN India coast; also undertaking culture of various statins in the laboratory.

2. Project Associate I –1 Posts

Post no. : 1.3

Essential Qualification: B.E in Biotechnology or B. Tech in Biotechnology

Desirable: Experience in seaweed culture / cultivation besides knowledge of swimming.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as per CSIR guidelines.

Job description: Selected candidate will work on the CSIR project, titled ‘Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation and valorisation technologies – WP1’. The candidate is expected to undertake farming of seaweed at PAN India coast.

Age limit: 35 years as on last date of receiving applications (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).
