Date of Interview: 16th & 17th May 2024

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for awarding 22 (numbers) of Diamond Jubilee Research Internship, who are creative and have passion and desire to pursue S&T as a career. The total number of internship is tentative and may vary/increase as per requirements. The presently advertised posts as well as any additional requirements would be filled up from the panel of selected candidates,  in the order of merit, in the designated areas through this interview, which will be valid for one year.

The CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Intern Awards scheme is meant to be a preparatory phase for young interns to imbibe the spirit of inquiry and learn the tools and techniques of research through participation and doing. The scheme thus seeks young interns to gain from the knowledge and experience of accomplished scientists by working with them and to take up S&T as a career.

CSIR, the premier industrial R&D organization in India, was established in 1942 by a resolution of the then Central Legislative Assembly. CSMCRI, Bhavnagar is an autonomous body under the aegis of CSIR registered under the Registration of the Societies Act of 1860.
