Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate-I from interested and talented candidates for the CSIR FIRST project titled “Utilizing chiral-induced spin selectivity effect CISS in designing hydrogen-bonded organoelectrocatalysts for water splitting including seawater” (Project Code: FIR030303) at CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.

M.Sc. in Chemistry |
Candidates having research experience in the area of catalysis/electrochemistry/ in organic/organic synthesis. |
(i) 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Test – CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professor) or GATE. OR (b) A selection process through a National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions. (ii) 25,000 /- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (i) above. |
Synthesis, characterization of hydrogen bonded systems and their electrocatalytic applications. |
Age: As of the last date of receipt of application through email, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the CSIR rule.
Duration: This post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of project staff in different projects either in the CSIR-CSMCRI, or different Lab/Institute of CSIR taken together shall not exceed five years in any case. It would not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.

Application received by email will be scrutinized and shortlisted based on certain criteria and only such shortlisted candidates, eligible as per criteria, will be asked to attend the interview (online mode). The details of the interview will be sent to such candidates by e-mail. Ineligible candidates and students appearing in the final year of essential qualifying degrees need not apply.
